You don’t have to hold it all together anymore
Therapy for those who feel like they’re too much, and never enough, all at once
Does this sound like you?
You look like you’ve got it together - but inside…
You're constantly questioning yourself, even when everyone else sees you as capable
You avoid conflict to keep the peace, even when it means abandoning your own needs
You replay conversations, worry you said the wrong thing, or fear people might pull away
You feel responsible for everyone else's happiness, but rarely make space for your own
You know what healthy boundaries look like, but guilt, fear, or self-doubt make them incredibly difficult to hold
You wonder why you keep repeating the same patterns, even though you've worked hard to understand them
If you’re nodding along, you’re not alone… and you’re in the right place.
There’s a reason you feel this way
These patterns often started as ways to keep you safe, avoid rejection, or stay connected to others, even if it meant disconnecting from your own needs.
Over time, these ways of coping can become so automatic that they begin shaping how you show up in relationships, how you speak to yourself, and how you see your own worth.
Together, we'll make sense of where these patterns came from, begin healing them at the root, and create lasting change - so you can feel more secure in your relationships, trust yourself more deeply, and show up with confidence as your authentic self.
You deserve to rest without explaining, to set boundaries without fear, and to feel worthy - just as you are.
Meet Julie
Julie Carr, BA, MA, RCC
Hi, I'm Julie - a Registered Clinical Counsellor and fellow human who knows how exhausting it can feel to constantly chase "enough."
I work with people who've always been the reliable one. The helper. The high-achiever. The one who holds it all together on the outside, but privately struggles with self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, or repeating patterns they can't seem to break.
As a millennial therapist with a modern, relational approach, therapy with me isn't just about talking through your week. It's about making sense of the patterns that keep showing up, healing them at the root, and creating lasting change.
Maybe you can't quite put your finger on why you feel this way, you just know you're tired of carrying it all. If that's where you are, we'll work together to make sense of how your past experiences shaped the beliefs, habits, and patterns that may still be influencing your life today.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and real. I'll support you, challenge you when it's helpful, and make sure you feel safe being yourself, are heard, and are involved in the process.
